Hi! I’m Daisy and I often feel like the most blessed woman on earth! I have been married for almost 38 years to a wonderful man who loves me and cherishes me. I have raised and homeschooled 2 wonderful children who are all grown up now and are both married with families of their own! I now have three beautiful granddaughters, and a grandson, too! My husband and I have been in full-time ministry for over 35 years.
I enjoy sewing & quilting, photography, cooking, but most of all — spending time with my family!
My life was changed completely when I was a teenager and gave my life to Christ. Since then, sharing Jesus with others has been a big part of my life.
Looking forward to reading Daisy!
Thank you! Your blog is beautiful and I will be trying that lemon tart recipe 🙂

Beautiful blog! There is inspiration to satisfy the appetite of the soul, wonderful photos to satisfy the appetite of the eye, and recipes to satisfy the appetite and palate. Delightful! (also, thank you kindly for liking “Little Lamb Lost”.) Shalom! 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words… they mean a lot! You have summarized just what I want this blog to be.
Think I found myself a new blog!! Thanks for finding me. Can’t wait to get to know you better.
I am honored to nominate you for an Award(s) of your choice. Please visit me at http://sharechair.wordpress.com/2012/08/25/a-brief-intermission-for-a-lot-of-very-late-blog-love-2/ to learn about the choices. Awards are a lovely way to connect with other bloggers, but there is no pressure, and it is completely understood if you choose not to participate. Congratulations!
Thank you so much! I am very honored that you would nominate this blog!
Hi Daisy! Glad to meet you! I love spending time with my family too. What type of ministry have you been involved in?
Since graduating from college, my husband and I have been involved in many different ministries including children, youth, music, camps, discipleship… we were in church planting for about 15 years and are currently serving as Regional Directors for our District. It’s like being a Pastor to the Pastors and their wives who serve in our region. It’s been a great blessing as well a challenging one. It’s good to meet you, too. 🙂
I’m always thrilled to meet another sister in the Lord via the blogs–God is So Amazing! I’ll have to come back when I have more time, but I just wanted to say hello–and also that I admire folks like you who truly enjoy thrift stores, and can do “miraculous” things with what you find. I think we either “have it” or we don’t–I have family members like you, but I don’t “have it”. About 15 min inside St Vincent de Paul, and I’m ready to go home and shower! God bless you so abundantly–love, sis Caddo
It’s so much fun transforming old, unwanted furniture into pretty, new-again pieces! …Kind of what God does with us… “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold all things are made new.” 1 Cor. 5:17
Amen, Amen!!
Loved your story… Serving together to further the kingdom deepens the bond between you! How amazing! Do you publish your blog posts/updates to email? I would love to subscribe. RuthLutzOrlando@aol.com
