“Oh Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds thy hands have made…
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee, How great thou art!”

A blessed Sunday to you!

This whole Fall has been a season of Giving Thanks.
I have so much to be grateful for.
Twice this year I had to deal with some health issues.
They could’ve been very serious…
But I thank God for restoring me to good health
and I feel better than I have in years.
I’m also thankful that my family, my kids, grandkids, and extended family
are doing well.
I can’t put into words how wonderful it is when everyone is healthy.
After several years of different ones going to the hospital and experiencing
such serious problems… I cannot thank God enough for the blessing
of good health in our family.
It is a gift not to be taken for granted.
Every thing else is just an added bonus.
I thank Him many times every day.
I have much to be thankful for.
Have a blessed Sunday!

I’m in Wisconsin…
This morning I went for a walk and took some pictures as I marveled at the beauty around me…
.
.
There are still a few trees left with colorful leaves
.
.
.
.
.
Even the rocks looked picturesque to me.
.
I sat on that dock for a while, enjoying the quiet, praying, thinking, listening to the birds.
I saw deer tracks by the water. I might come back early tomorrow…maybe I’ll see deer!
.
.
These were crab apple trees. Not much fruit left, but I had one for breakfast and it was delicious!
.
.
I borrowed some boots so I could walk in the muddy and swampy areas. I wasn’t sure I needed them, but I was so glad I had them when I got down by the lake.
I’m hoping to see more of Wisconsin within the next few days!
A blessed Sunday to you all!

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? …You of little faith! Do not worry then… for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:30-33

Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.

I’ve been sick for over a week and haven’t been able to do much, but…
I can not let today go by without posting.
It is the reason why there exists hope
The reason why we can go on in the midst of trials,
grief, hard times.
He lives.
The angel said to the women,
“Do not be afraid;
for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.
He is not here,
for He has risen,
just as He said.
Come, see the place where He was lying. ”
Matt. 28:5-7
I don’t know if you’ve seen this before,
but it’s one of my favorites from way back.
If you haven’t seen it,
you’re in for a treat.
A blessed Easter to you all,
Daisy
