I’m in Wisconsin…
This morning I went for a walk and took some pictures as I marveled at the beauty around me…
.
.
There are still a few trees left with colorful leaves
.
.
.
.
.
Even the rocks looked picturesque to me.
.
I sat on that dock for a while, enjoying the quiet, praying, thinking, listening to the birds.
I saw deer tracks by the water. I might come back early tomorrow…maybe I’ll see deer!
.
.
These were crab apple trees. Not much fruit left, but I had one for breakfast and it was delicious!
.
.
I borrowed some boots so I could walk in the muddy and swampy areas. I wasn’t sure I needed them, but I was so glad I had them when I got down by the lake.
I’m hoping to see more of Wisconsin within the next few days!
A blessed Sunday to you all!
Daisy
Gorgeous colors Daisy– When we were in Wisconsin last summer, I kept exclaiming about the blue skies! Where are you in Wisconsin. Looks like maybe farther south. Are you on vacation? Visiting family? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen your picture– Those boots are the real thing! and yo look so young! Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful refreshing time while you’re there. Blessings friend, xo
Thank you, Rhonda! I tried responding with my cell phone three different times, but it’s not working properly and wouldn’t open up different programs. I just arrived home today, so I thought I’d better respond finally! I took these pictures in Ripon. I’d never been there before, but the scenery was so pretty. I’ve posted pics of myself before – I usually tag those entries “Family” – but since I’m usually behind the camera, I don’t have many pictures of myself to post. My husband took this picture of me just before I went on the walk. I was in Ripon, helping my in-laws move. It was an exhausting time, but good to see family. I pray you have a blessed week ahead! xo
Hey Daisy! I’ll have to go look up Ripon on the map– and I’ve never don blog stuff on my phone! I’m impressed that you can. It seems a lot more complicated. Glad the moving is done. It is exhausting– so many decisions and just organizing all that stuff! I’m sure they were thankful you were there. So–welcome home! Hope you have a more restful few days ahead. Take care friend. xo
Yeah…I was thinking that you look young, too! 🙂 What a peaceful place to walk!
Thank you, Laura! I must admit, sometimes I don’t feel so young… haha
This place was so quiet & peaceful, all you could hear were the birds. It was kind of cold but not enough to be uncomfortable. I love that kind of weather! It was early in the morning, so there was some fog, which just made everything even prettier.
Beautiful photos, as usual. My son lives in Wisconsin, and he says they are having a magnificent fall! It shows in your pictures.
Yes, I saw so much fall color still on the trees! I wasn’t expecting that since most of the other states we’ve been to recently had very little or none.
Lovely morning meditation.
Thank you! 🙂
Thank you for, sharing His wonder and beauty with us!
Thanks, Debbie, always, for your encouragement.
I don’t think I’ve been to Wisconsin–it’s beautiful this time of year!
This was my second time, but the first one doesn’t really count since it was because the driver (someone from Chicago) took a wrong turn and instead of ending up in Michigan (where we were headed), we ended up in Wisconsin Dells! Not fun at the time. We turned around and by the time we got to our destination it was 3am! I was supposed to take part in the morning session (at a Ladies’ Retreat) which began at 8am… I tried drinking coffee, but that’s not really the same as 6-7 hours of sleep. 🙂
Those are some beautiful photos! I love Fall photos! 🙂 You look great girl!
Haha, thanks! Fall is such a great time to take pictures of everything outdoors! I love the cool weather just starting, too.
The pictures are lovely. Have a wonderful time in Wisconsin!
