JOY…
This is the word I’ve chosen for 2013.
I’m keeping a journal, filled with photography and writing as I find joy in each day. I’m really looking forward to it!
As I look ahead to 2013,
Here are just a few of the many things in 2012 that brought joy to me…
Taking photos of our friends’ kids and blessing them with a scrapbook filled with the prints as a gift.
So much fun to take photos of children!
Trip to Venice Beach, FL with my daughter and son-in-law.
Playing with Kitty and finding a home for her and her kittens.
My son’s graduation from College!
Trips to the beach.
My son’s wedding!
Trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.
Lloyd, the wonder dog 🙂
Trip to the Capital and the Smithsonian museums.
Sewing and Quilting…
And I have tons of other photos I could include here,
but I’ll look forward to many, many other reasons for joy in 2013
and I’ll be posting about them.
Have a blessed Sunday!!
Then our mouth was filled with laughter
And our tongue with JOYful shouting;
Then they said among the nations,
“The LORD has done great things for them.”
Psalm 126:2
Love to you all,
Daisy
My mantra that I have been saying to myself for over 30 years is “Peace, love, hope, joy” and joy is certainly one of the important words. Loved your pictures showing so much joy.

Loved your picture post. What a great year 2012 was. I hope 2013 is twice as much Joy! My word for the year is Let Go. =)
Wow, that’s a tough one but a good one! May it come easy to you! 🙂
Such beautiful photos… Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for your kind comment!
What a wonderful collage of pictures! It’s no wonder that JOY is your word for 2013 – – there truly is so much joy all around us, if only we open our eyes to see it. Thank you for reminding us of that.
And the picture of that precious kitten is like something out of a book. Gorgeous! (And I’m partial to cats.)
Thanks for your comment earlier today on my blog. I made my first cuts on the machine last night, and I’m in love! It was so much fun, too. So, perhaps something to add to your wish list for your bday or Christmas next year…. 😉
Happy 2013!
What a nice thing to say! I really appreciate your comment!
And I look forward to seeing your projects on your new machine! It sounds like a lot of fun to use.
