I have not posted in 11 days…
I’ve missed you, friends.
First, I had to attend a training and had no internet available.
Then, 2 days ago, I had another migraine. I’ve never had them so close together before. But I am thankful that this time I did not have to go to the ER.
Now, on to more JOYful topics! 🙂
The place where this training was held was rural and a very pretty setting.
I was able to step outside with my camera for just a few minutes during one of the breaks and take a few photos…
The color. The delicate petals.
It was not a rose bush, but it was just as beautiful…and it was covered in blooms!
I only had a few minutes…
I could stare at this for a while. So beautiful. It doesn’t have the sweet scent of a rose, but it is so lovely.
The bush had so very many! There were some that had fallen and the ground was covered with them. Even there, they were beautiful!
Does anybody know what type of flowers these are?
I thought I could google it, but after a while, I gave up when I couldn’t find the exact match. It’s a big bush, tall, and covered with these flowers.
It’s good to be back… Y’all have a fantastic weekend!!
Love to you,
Daisy
Your photos are beautiful! And please feel better soon! 🙂
Thank you so very much!!
Welcome back! Beautiful pics. Glad you’re feeling better. Mtetar
It’s good to be back and hear from all you kind friends! 🙂
Have a Blessed Weekend. Mtetar
As a fellow migraine sufferer, you have my sympathy. It must have been really terrible if you had to go the ER.
The flowers are spectacular – have no idea what they are.

Lillian, I’m so very sorry to hear that you know what it’s like to have a migraine. Thank you for your very kind comment. It’s always good to hear from you. 🙂
So gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! It’s fun sharing photos 🙂
Camellias they bloom in the winter an the one you got pictures of is a double blossom…. a true southern blessing 🙂 hope you are feeling better…. I used to suffer from migraines too but took sub-clinical doses of an anti depressant for a year and have not had any since! Pray that you can find a way to resolve yours too.
Thanks for solving the mystery! and thank you for your kindness.
I agree with the other commenter – I think they are camellias. We have one that blooms here in spring and the flowers and leaves look just like that. Mine could use more sun than it gets as an old cherry tree is shading it too much. I hope the nasty headache stays away, Daisy. I occasionally get ones that give me nausea, and it is such a relief when it is gone!! Hugs! Thanks for the treat of lovely blooms to enjoy! 🙂
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thanks, Wendy, you’re always so encouraging. I do feel better and I’ve been taking it easy and trying to get some rest. Glad to know you enjoyed the beautiful pink camellias 🙂
Those are beautiful flowers. I do not know the name of them 🙂
Thank you for sharing to us.this is fantastic.
Love camellias. We have 3 bushes here and call them “winter roses” because they bloom in January and February here in Calif.
