For Christmas this year, I got some fun, unexpected gifts…
My daughter gave me this:
It appears to be a camera lens. In fact, it looks almost identical to MY camera lens.
But it’s not a lens…
It’s a mug! Stainless steel inside, nice twist-off cap…
Which again, looks exactly like my lens cover.
It’s very nice to use for either coffee or hot tea…
or hot chocolate,
or a latte…
you get the idea.
It comes in its own little bag (just like the real thing)!
She also gave me a subscription to Popular Photography! So much fun to look through and learn from their articles. But no pressure, right? I’m still just an amateur 🙂
Well, if you know someone who enjoys photography… here’s two ideas for gifts. I’m sure they’ll love it! 🙂
Happy Saturday!
Daisy
Don’t pour your coffee on your camera! 🙂
Ha! I’ll try not to!
Love It!!! what a cute idea!! I’m a member of a photography club and that would have been a terrific “exchange” gift!!! will have to remember it for next year!!! or even a members Birthday !!! 🙂
It’s so much fun to use! I really like it!
Very nice gift! I love to take pictures as you can see some of that practice on my blog here on wordpress. Thanks for sharing this gift idea. http://projectsbyMtetar.wordpress.com Have a Blessed Saturday! Mtetar
Thanks, Mtetar! …glad you like it 🙂
Yes I did, is it expensive? http://projectsbyMtetar.wordpress.com
My daughter wouldn’t tell me how much she paid for it, but here’s the link she ordered it from: http://photojojo.com/store/
They have tons of things to choose from if you’re into photography. Have fun! 🙂
I was watching a photography course on Lynda.com. He had a whole display of lenses he was talking about. Toward the end, he picked one up and started drinking out of it. Freaked me out! Took me a minute to realize what it was. LOL
Sounds like you have a pretty awesome daughter! Great gifts.
Ha! That’s pretty much the reaction from most people when they don’t know it’s a mug. And yes, I do have an awesome daughter! …not because of the gifts she gives me (although they are nice!) but for many other reasons 🙂 Thanks for your kind comment.
What sweet and thoughtful gifts from your daughter! I love both of them. 🙂
Blessings & enjoy your subscription, Daisy, as you sip from your awesome mug ~ Wendy
Haha, I am enjoying sipping tea while turning the pages of the magazine. 🙂 Thanks, Wendy!
We have one of those mugs at our house too! (our daughter works for a photography website that sells them)– fun post.
Wow, I don’t know if I could work for a place like that! –I’d be buying and bringing home most of the stuff on sale! (for me and for family & friends that would love it, too!) 🙂
That’s a fun gift 🙂
