Well, during the past 2-3 weeks, we have packed, cleaned, moved, unloaded truck, cleaned, and unpack (some) boxes.
During the same time, we had previous commitments
in Colorado, Georgia, and Orlando (FL),
so………. I really haven’t unpacked much.
I have to say thank you so very much to all of you
who commented on the last post (Moving),
…so much kindness and friendship expressed! ย It meant a great deal to me!!
We have not yet set up Internet/Wireless at the house,
so I have missed you all a lot!
. . .and I find myself having to go to the library in order to get online. . .
It’s nice, but . . .
not as nice as home . . .
I always enjoy going to the library, but I miss the freedom of getting online whenever,
and keeping in touch with my blogging friends!
I feel pulled in two different directions . . .
I want to look at books (I love to read!)
. . . but I need to sit and work online for a while, too.
I feel like the child who gets home from school and is told, “Don’t forget to do your homework!”
Okay, I chose a random variety ย to check out while I walked around for a few minutes,
. . . now, to work.
Have a blessed week everyone!
I miss you, and can’t wait to hear from you!
Daisy
Thanks for the update! I hope you have settled in a warm state?? It’s currently snowing giant snow flakes here in NY. Uggg….
I know it might sound weird to you, but… I really miss snow sometimes! ๐
It’s always nice to have friends keep in touch. Thanks for sharing and letting us know you’re well and Blessed. Be Blessed, http://projectsbyMtetar.wordpress.com
Yes, friends are so important! It has really been a blessing to see all the different comments and encouragement! Thanks so much for taking the time to write. ๐
You’re most welcome, Mtetar
It looks like a nice library! I’m so glad there’s one nearby ๐ Don’t worry about getting everything done…it’ll happen eventually! Can’t wait to see you soon!
Yeah, this library (although it’s a lot smaller than the one I had in my “neighborhood”) is nice enough and has the online options to put books on hold as well as ebooks, so that’s nifty! I’m taking the unpacking one day at a time. It’s been hard because of being away most days, but slowly it’ll get done. I miss you and am looking forward to seeing you and having some mother/daughter outings!! ๐
So good to know you are okay! Your library looks so much like ours! God bless you as you settle in!
Thanks, Debbie. You are always so sweet & encouraging. It means a lot. I pray the Lord will fill you to overflowing with His joy today! ๐
Daisy, it was so nice to see your post in my e-mail today! I found our last move exhausting since we’d been at our old place 18 years. But I do enjoy decorating a new place. I hope you enjoy it too!
Blessings ~ Wendy
What a nice thing to say, Wendy! I missed you! So good to be in touch again! I’ll be posting about our new place soon. . . when I finish unpacking (which may take a while!) ๐
Hi Daisy! How’s the unpacking going? I hope you are settling into your new place and liking it. Were you able to spend Easter with family? We had it at home with our three teens. They LOVE turkey!! It makes the mess and bother worth it to see them enjoy it so much…
Blessings ~ Wendy
Oooo! That stack of books looks so enticing. I can understand your dilemma of wanting to play…when work calls. I know how hectic the moving process can been as we moved from Columbus to Orlando this past summer…and I know that feeling of being disconnected when you don’t have internet access. Hope it all gets squared away sooner than later and that you’re granted extra shares of peace to get through the waiting in the meantime!
Wow, from Columbus to Orlando! That’s quite a ways!! We’ve moved many times but thankfully this time it wasn’t across the country (like yours)!! However, it was pretty stressful as we only had 2 weeks to pack, clean, and move in. I’m getting the unpacking done a little at a time but it’s encouraging to get plates & cups in the cupboards, and find a place for different items. I still don’t feel quite “at home” yet, but that comes with time and when everything is put in its place.
Love the library too! Glad you found your way there to let us know how you are doing. Hoping you’re settling in well. I’m trying to guess where you are living–Colorado? Florida? Georgia? God keep you as you make a new home there.
Ha! That was funny. Sometimes I wonder where I live, too. I can’t wait to try your recipe for that chocolate cake!!
