This is a blanket I made for my daughter. . .
It is basically a big granny square.
It went pretty quick and it was fun!
I chose this combination because my daughter really likes it.
It was fun for me to work with these colors and this pattern is a good one for a beginner like me.
This is the center of the blanket…
I had planned to give it to my daughter for Christmas but I decided to give it to her now, since we got to visit her recently. I’m happy to say she really liked it. 🙂
Happy Friday everyone!
Daisy
The blanket is gorgeous. I love granny squares of all kinds.
I love the colour combination – it’s so bright and happy. A job well done, I’d say!
Thank you so much! The colors were fun to work with!
That is such a cheery colored blanket. And so warm too!
It looks great in my daughter’s living room also…most of her furniture is black so the blanket really brings color & cheer into it!
love it! I need to learn to crochet– it looks so cozy and fun. You have a lucky daughter Daisy! thanks for the post.
Thanks, Rhonda. I think you’d enjoy crocheting, but you are probably really busy with lesson plans, grading papers, etc. On the other hand, it might just be a stress-reliever as it was for me, just sitting at night “watching TV” while crocheting. I usually work on crochet when I’m traveling with my husband in the car for long hours (we do this A LOT because of his job). This pattern is easy and it goes really fast, too, so come on… give it a try! 🙂
So happy to have found your blog … feels like home. Thank you so much for the follow xx
I’m so happy to hear “it feels like home”!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
