I took some Senior Pics for a friend of mine . . .
It was a lot of fun!
She and her family are like part of our own family.
We’ve known them for many years and have had many wonderful memories together.
We went to several different locations . . .
Each location was beautiful. It was fun playing with the different lighting and backgrounds.
My favorite place had to be the ocean.
(I didn’t really have to tell you, right? You probably guessed!)
Editing the photos was also fun! Playing with black & white as well as color.
I’m always intrigued by the fact that some photos just look better in B&W — More impact.
It was a hot day, but worth the trouble, for sure! 🙂
I think K. liked her Senior Pics.
We are all very proud of her.
Congratulations on your graduation, K!
Have fun photo shooting 🙂
Daisy
Lovely …. something to treasure.
I think she was pleased with the photos, and that made me happy! I hated my Senior Pics! I didn’t even order any copies….they were pretty bad, haha!
Just a beautiful job!!
Thanks so much! It was fun.
Beautiful–you are a really good portrait photographer.
Thanks, Sheryl! I don’t take a lot of photos of people, but when it’s someone as nice as K, it makes it easy. 🙂
You really have a good eye, Daisy! As lovely as they are today, imagine K. looking at them twenty years from now. I’m sure she’ll treasure them even more! 🙂 Peace! Beth
Thank you so much, Beth! I hope she enjoys sharing them with her family & friends.
These are great! I especially like the one peeking from behind the tree. Senior pictures have changed a lot since I was in school and we looked so stiff and posed!
Yes! I know what you mean — I hate stiff, posed photos. It’s fun trying to think of new ways to make the photos more natural rather than just sit and stare at the camera 🙂
She’s such a pretty subject and you did a wonderful job on the pictures.
Lillian
Thanks, Lillian! I agree, K is beautiful and it was a pleasure to spend the day with her & her Mom!
I think you could start a new side job! I’d like to see that last full one — she is holding a rail — in black and white too.
Beautiful photos!
Haha! I’ve thought about starting a photography business of some kind, but somehow haven’t really tried very hard. It seems I’m too busy to think too much about it! 🙂
What gorgeous portraits! You really have a gift for this!
Thank you, I really appreciate your kind comment!!
Great job!! My favorite is the very first photo you posted 🙂
I like that one, too 🙂
Daisy, these are wonderful! My favorite was the one of her peeking from behind the tree. Her hair is so gorgeous. (My daughter has long hair too.)
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thanks, Wendy! I’m so glad you stopped by! 🙂
Lovely photos, I love black and white images I feel you see more of the person somehow and there is a timelessness about them.
I like the B & W’s, too! There’s something about them.
Daisy–What a lovely “gift” for K as she graduates–all those beautiful photos to remember the time. So glad you thought to put them up to share.
Thanks so much, Rhonda! They are such a special family to us and to be able to give her something like this meant a lot to me. I was very happy that she liked the photos.
I love the playfulness and the tenderness! Beautiful photos!
Thank you for that kind comment! 🙂
