I have not posted in two weeks . . .
I’ve been busy editing photos and video that I took for a wedding . . .
I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you . . .
(click photos to enlarge)
The church was a beautiful, old, historical building made of stone and brick,
located in a quaint Historical Downtown.
As soon as I walked in, I knew I’d be taking tons of photos
just of the church alone . . .
you know how I love old/historical houses & buildings.
The church was beautifully and simply decorated.
So sweet.
. . . with the Bride
All the windows in the sanctuary were original stained glass.
I couldn’t pass it up . . .
This is one of my very favorite photos.
I think it will look beautiful in a silver frame,
don’t you? 🙂
There’s just something about Black & White photos . . . even now.
Bride, Mother, and Grandmother. Three generations celebrating a very special day.
I love this picture.
I know a little of what the Father of the Bride must have been feeling . . .
our kids are now married and I remember well
the mixed feelings of great happiness as well as a sense of loss
and that things would never be quite the same.
But here, a moment of pure joy and laughter was captured on film.
The little girl all grown up now; Daddy still able to make her laugh.
Friends.
How very important they are in life.
Instead of throwing rice, the guests blew bubbles . . .
Good choice! So much nicer that getting rice in your clothes!
It looks better in pictures, too 🙂
Memories.
Praying their union will be a sweet one,
and that it will last “as long as they both shall live.”
Have a great week everybody!
Love to you all,
Daisy
Wonderful photos–the couple must love them! I love the one of the bride and her father–so perfect!
That’s one of my favorites, too. I love when candid moments are captured in a photo, rather than stiff, posed pictures. It’s always fun to look for those moments. 🙂
Beautiful!
Thank you so much! It was fun.
Oh, these are so wonderful. My favorite is the one of the bride and her father too. It looks so natural — you captured them at a perfect time!
Thanks so much! It’s much more fun to try to get “natural” photos that come unexpectedly!
Hi Daisy, beautiful portraits of heart and love of family … thank you for sharing them with us …
It was a special day for them and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it 🙂
Beautiful photos!
Thank you! Love the recipes you post on your blog! 🙂
Daisy–what fun!! All those beautiful photos of their day is such a gift… My favorite was the one with the mother and grandmother with the bride. –We’re having a wedding in our backyard this Saturday for my nephew– Wish you were here to photograph it all!!
Aww! That would be fun- wish I could be there! Have a wonderful time!
What a beautiful dress she’s wearing. The little girls are so darling. All in all, a beautiful wedding. Thank you for sharing these wonderful memories with us.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Wow…such beautiful photos! You really captured the emotion of the day. And the black and whites are just stunning!
Thanks so much for your kind comments!
Those are beautiful. My wedding wasn’t fancy so I do not have amazing pictures like that.
Thanks!
What a beautiful wedding…lovely photos! I attended my daughter’s wedding a month ago today. Happy beginnings abound!
Wow, your daughter’s wedding?! You should be recovering from all the work! 🙂 After my daughter’s wedding I felt like going on a cruise for a month! If I’d had the money, believe me, I would have! haha It can be a very stressful, emotional, and demanding time… so when it’s over, we feel like taking a nice, long restful vacation. I think maybe that should go into the budget & planning for a daughter’s wedding, don’t you? 🙂
Ah…I didn’t actually have as much to do as I would have liked! I live in Kentucky and my daughter lives in Arizona. 😦 She did a fantastic job and had a wedding planner! My part was getting everybody there and helping with last minute details the week of the wedding. Even that though…was a lot! I was so proud of how everything turned out…so proud! I have to do a post and share some of the joy! Thank you for sharing your celebration and joy!
Daisy, you did a wonderful job capturing such beautiful moments for this newlywed couple.
Blessings ~ Wendy
