While temperatures continue to go up and down around here, it seems that Spring has arrived at my neighborhood Walmart!
Stepping into the garden section was like finding myself in another world…
A pretty world with lots and lots of flowers, all different colors!
I was smiling the entire time I was there…
I know I’ve seen these all before but they are just so beautiful, I couldn’t help but smile and think, “How am I ever going to choose?!”
It was a cold day outside (at least for this part of the country), but it felt more like summer in the mountains… Cool air and gorgeous flowers everywhere!
I haven’t yet planted what I bought, but I can’t wait to see how they’ll look!
There were tulips in different colors for $.98 each. I bought yellow, orange and red, and put them in our little front entrance. They make me smile every time I come home!
Have fun planning your garden, whether small (like mine) or large (like Biltmore) 🙂
Daisy
Thank you – I really needed that.
Lillian
You are a sweetheart, Lillian… I hope the weather warms up soon so you’ll be able to go to those nice antique stores and have lunch at the nearby town. Wish I could go with you 🙂
Great, happy colours, spring is just springing here in the UK, can’t wait!
Yes, I just love the vivid colors in all the flowers!
I smiled at your photos — so beautiful, even if they are in Florida….sigh…
haha… your comment made me laugh — you are so funny Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Ouch. It’s going to be months before we see these flowers in upstate NY. And, yet, your photos bring me some hope and promise of things to come . . .
When we used to live in Chicago, I learned the meaning of cabin fever after weeks of continuous below-zero weather. I have great respect for you… wish I could send some warmer weather your way, but all I can do is post these photos in hopes that spring will arrive early this year in your neck of the woods. 🙂
Your photos will help!
OK, so you got me missing my flowers. Unfortunately, we still have to wait a few months to plant where I live!
As they say, “it’ll be here before you know it!” The photos you posted of the sunset on the beach were beautiful… somehow when I’m at the beach it’s always summer (even when it’s cold outside). The view reminds me of much warmer days to come.
Spring is in the air here too in Southern California. Thank you for the lovely flower photos 🙂
The flowers are lovely. I think that it’s still at least a month or a month and a half until stores will open their garden center up here.
You’re probably right! We recently had to travel and it is amazing the change in weather from one part of the country to another… we were with friends at the airport and had to laugh as we saw everyone coming off the plane holding multiple coats and layers of clothing… evidently they had flown in from somewhere much colder than here! They looked happy to be here 🙂
Such beautiful bright colours 🙂
I love the variety of choices both in annuals and perennials. It’s like a box of crayons. 🙂
Love this post Daisy! those pansies are amazing! I’ve never seen anything like them either. fun post.
