…God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1: 5-9
What a refreshing thought!!! In “light” of what is challeging the Church today in America it is “enlightening” to go the Scripures and let the Word of God stand on its own. Thank you for this reminder.
Thank you. I agree, the Scriptures don’t need any help from us.
Wow, Daisy. . .what a beautiful Word for us today. Thank you for shining His light on us.
I appreciate your kind words… I needed that Scripture this week and when I came across it in the morning, I knew it wasn’t a coincidence.
This photo is incredible! How it makes this scripture really come to life!
Thank you! My daughter & I were driving in a little mountain town on the east coast, and when we got to this spot, we just had to stop and take this photo just before the sun set.
Whow, it’s a beautiful script. Thank you for these words
