I will probably share many more photos soon, but I just had to post a few…
We woke up to a snow blanket covering our part of the world.
How beautiful!
Can’t wait to run outside (with my many layers of clothing on) and take many pictures!!
Until then,
Stay warm.
Daisy
Oh wow, so beautiful it looks like postcards.
It’s so beautiful outside! I actually took these pictures with my cell phone looking out the window. But, later went outside with my “real” camera and had fun taking pics.
We got snow, too! I was shocked when I saw it–I’m never quite ready for the first time. I suppose I should go out and look for the beauty in it, too, but it’s so cozy inside . . .
We had seen the weather report so I wasn’t surprised, but It sure looked pretty when I looked out the window in the morning.
The beauty of heavenly blessings.
What a perfect way to put it in words!
Oh wow! First snows are special! :). Thank you for sharing with us!
Even the dog enjoys it… He runs outside, playing in the snow, sticking his head in it and trying to sniff. However, last night it was 18* and the poor thing ran back inside after just 2 minutes out there! It’s different when the sun is shining and you at least get the impression that it feels warmer… 🙂
I like the composition of the second photo, you have a good eye 🙂
I appreciate that!
Daisy there are the most splendid photos!! I would put them in a frame!! Are you still in Ohio? You got a real taste of winter!!
Thanks, Rhonda, for such a kind compliment! We had a great time in Ohio and got to spend some time with family. The photos I posted are from my cell phone but i got to go outside and take some pics of the beautiful scenery with my “real” camera…can’t wait to see those and post some of them 🙂
Looking forward to them… so pretty!!
newest follower saying hi 🙂 What pretty photos. I’m in Sydney where we are going through a heatwave – wanna swap?
Ha!! No, thats ok, we had a hot summer and I like the cold & snow right now! 🙂
so pristine and beautiful!
Yes! The snow makes it even colder, but it also makes it beautiful.
My favorite winter scene is when we happen to get hoarfrost. That is the most magical time ever! I remember the first snow I experienced when my family moved up North. I thought it was quite possibly the most beautiful thing I had ever witnessed. May the miracle of Christmas bless you tomorrow! Kandy
I love red barns in the snow!
