A LOT has been going on around here,
and that’s why I’ve been away from the blogging world
for almost a month!
My daughter had her baby girl!
And she was a BIG baby — 11 lbs
(that’s not a typo)
A new baby! So much fun to be a Grandma!
We are so thankful and have much to thank God for —
baby and Mommy are doing great.
More pictures to come of both granddaughters!
Daisy
Oh Daisy! You have been missed! But now that I see why, all is absolutely, wonderfully, beautiful! What a blessing! So thankful, momma and baby are doing well. Blessings on all of you!!!
Thank you, Kandy! So good to hear from you. Praying for you & your family. Congrats on your son’s graduation! 🙂
Congratulations, isn’t she a cutie!! Big baby!!!
Thank you! Yeah, she even surprised the Dr. with her size!!
Congrats, that’s awesome news!
Thanks! 🙂
Beautiful, beautiful baby girl 🙂 Congratulations to you and your daughter!
Thank you so much! 🙂
How wonderful – and that really is a big baby. We need more details – like name – and more pictures.
Haha, thanks Lillian! I’ll be posting more pictures soon!
Congratulations! Welcome back. 🙂
Thanks! It’s good to be back!! I feel like I’m catching up with friends! 🙂
Awesome! Congratulations Daisy! 🙂
Thank you, Laura! I’ve been thinking about your great quilt blocks/options on your blog as I’ve been putting together a UFO I’ve had for several years now. I’m trying to decide how to sew the blocks together and remembered how you have all those different choices or “looks” for each pattern. It’s a postage stamp block pattern, and I’m just wondering if I should sew them all together as they are or if I should have sashing in-between the blocks… I’m hoping to blog about it soon, when it’s all done! 🙂
I bet it will be wonderful no matter how you choose to set the blocks! I look forward to the blog post!
Alas, I’m working 6 days a week and putting in a lot of hours. No time to play with blocks and settings. I really miss blogging about the designs. Sigh. This too shall pass. And then I shall not only play with designs again, but get at least some of my UFO’s done!
Blessings to you, Daisy!
Ouch 9lb 8oz was bad enough!! So glad all went well for mum and baby, I hope things continue smoothly. Enjoy your precious granddaughter. X
She is a lot of fun 🙂
Such an excellent reason to be away from blogging–but it’s good to see you back!

So happy for you and all the family Daisy!! You have a lot of sweet times ahead with that little girl. She’s blessed to have you as a grandma with all the love and fun and faith you can give her… Wonderful news!!
Thank you, Rhonda! It’s been so much fun spending time with her this week. She is a sweetie!
So Daisy– I can’t remember who lives in Ohio– your daughter or son? Is the new baby close by? I hope so!
She’s adorable. Congratulations, Daisy, on the birth of your granddaughter.
Blessings ~ Wendy ❀
