I’ve been working on the baby quilt…
Here’s a little pillow case I made with leftover 2 1/2″ squares: 
It’s been so much fun working on this!
I just did a simple pattern, nothing fancy.
Here’s a pic of the quilt before I started the hand quilting.
I’ve been working on that, too and I’ll post pictures when I finish both the pillow and the quilt.
On a side note, a few days ago I was able to get some quilting thread at bargain prices during a sale at both Joann’s and at Hobby Lobby!
I got some pretty colors for future projects I’ve been wanting to get done.

The quilt and pillowcase are just beautiful. I used to love nand stitch but carpal tunnel syndrome has put an end to that. I love what you are making.
I didn’t think I was going to be able to do it because I’ve had different problems with my hands & wrists, but nothing permanent, thankfully. I take my time with the quilting and stop at the first sign of my hands hurting. It’s been so relaxing and fun at the same time.
Hi Daisy– Love it, love it! The clean white strips between the pastel squares make it look so bright and fresh. Is this for your grand-daughter?? I love hand quilting– it’s so relaxing to sit and stitch away. and I think it makes the quilt look so cozy and homemade. Oh do, do put pics up when you are finished. (P.S. we have a new grand-baby on the way so I’ll be following you with a baby quilt project!). Fun to see what you’re doing! xox friend.
