Taking pictures of babies is not easy. But toddlers? That’s a whole other level. They don’t stay still for a second.
I laughed the entire time I tried to take these pics…
.
And I’m surprised I got any in focus because she wasn’t in one place, facing one direction for more than just one second. It was hilarious… if you had been watching my daughter & me… trying to get at least one picture… we were laughing out loud as everything we tried just didn’t work. Kids have a mind of their own and their attention span when it comes to photos is not very long.
.
I just wanted one or two good pics of her wearing the little dress I made for her.
(Click here to see that post)
.
.
But every time she stood still and smiled, she was not facing the camera…
.
And she had her own ideas of how to use the props…
.
.
I have a new level of respect for children’s photography.
But it’s so much fun, though.
.
.
I can’t wait to see her again!
And take more photos…
They grow so quickly…
.
Have a great weekend,
Daisy
Too too cute!! The dress and your daughter are absolutely adorable!!
Thank you! It was fun!
She and the dress are beautiful
Oh Daisy! The little dress was cute when you made it. Seeing on it on your sweet granddaughter is just plain precious! Adorable! What a blessing! Kandy
Thanks, Kandy! So good to hear from you! š
Love the one where she is standing sideways looking contemplative. But they are all adorable. We have a photo of my two year old daughter modeling a handmade dress by grandma while she is jumping on the bed!
Well grandma is not jumping on the bed. But you probably guessed that. š
Hahahaha!! Too funny! Thanks for clarifying. š
Could she be any sweeter? I think not! What a big-time blessing, Daisy!
She IS a sweetie…always giving me kisses and hugs! Melts my heart! š
So precious! And the dress looks just perfect on her! Thank you for blessing us and sharing!
What a DOLLY!!!
A darling photo shoot, dear Daisy.
Blessings ~ Wendy
Another beautiful memory made – your beautiful granddaughter and the awesome dress you made for her!
The fondest of memories, for sure! Grandkids are so much fun!
Aww what a lovely dress and little girl. I like taking photographs of my daughter (2 years old) when she’s not looking as I can usually get the best pictures that way (I do the same with my 8 year old too so I get a more natural smile from him instead of his overly cheesy grin or face pulling)! Your photos show though that the dress is perfect for playing in which to any little girl is perfect š
Ha ha ha Daisy!! I know what you mean about trying to get one good photo of moving little girls!! The secret is to take so so many pictures– and delete all the bad ones! And you did get such a sweet set of pictures of her– My favorite was the side photo of her looking down at her hands– so dear. And– the dress is precious on her!! Fits so well! Fun to see it on her! You are amazing to be able to cobble it all together… Take care friend. hugs hugs!
Such a pretty dress! I love toddlers but they sure have their own ideas. Mine demands ‘PICTURE’ then runs away as I get out my phone. š
