Sunday

I love The Lord because he hears
my voice and my supplications.
Because he has inclined his ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon him
as long as I live.
Psalm 116:1,2

Have a blessed Sunday!

…God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.  If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;  but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.  If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1: 5-9

I do enjoy the early morning sights (once I’m up)

To its going down,
The Lord’s name is to be praised”

Most men enjoy watching/reading News, right?
Well, my husband is no exception.

This past week as he was reading one of the online News sites,
he thought it was funny that it actually said
there was snow in 49 States!
–all, except Florida!!

He sent that news clip to our kids
(who were “stranded” at home in different parts of the country
due to the winter storms)…
He let them know they could always come back home.
Bless his heart.

It’s usually hot in Florida,
but this week it’s been nice & cool.

So, here we are, enjoying the Florida weather for a change.
Don’t hate us.

Let heaven and earth praise Him,
The seas and everything that moves in them.

Psalm 69:34

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Have a blessed week!

Have you been anxious lately?
Worrying about something?

I love the stark contrasts in the pictures that
Scripture gives us…
from anxiety – to delight . . .

DSC_0159

“When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your consolations delight my soul.”
Psalm 94:19

I looked up the word “consolation” in the dictionary…
this is what came up:
relief, succor, help, support, cheer;
to soothe, comfort, console, or reassure; bring cheer to,
support or encourage.

Then I looked up the word “delight”.
this is what came up:
a high degree of pleasure or enjoyment;
joy; rapture
to give great pleasure, satisfaction, or enjoyment to.

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Love to you all,

Daisy

If you’re ever near Roan Mountain, TN, you won’t be disappointed if you take the time to go to the State Park and climb to the top of the mountain.  The trail is great, actually part of the Appalachian Trail.  The views at the top are well worth the climb!

I took many pictures… this one is my favorite.  My husband didn’t even notice when I took his picture here 🙂

Your lovingkindness, O Lord,
extends to the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches
to the skies.
Psalm 36:5

.

I looked up the word “lovingkindness” in the dictionary:
noun  –  tender kindness motivated by or expressing affection.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded that we are loved.

Have a blessed week!

Love to you all,

Daisy
